De Abyss is an end­less, chaot­ic, and evil city often described as a night­mar­ish place in itself.
The city varies enor­mous­ly, from burn­ing deserts with acid pools to dark voids full of cir­cus­es, and is often cru­el, sadis­tic, and con­stant­ly chang­ing. It is seen as a vio­lent, hos­tile envi­ron­ment. The city con­sists of sev­er­al vil­lages that togeth­er form one big city.

The abyss lies between Phlegeth­os and Sty­gia.

How many races live in this city?
Tieflings, demons, Dev­ils, demon clowns and oth­er cir­cus crea­tures

What are the cul­ture and tra­di­tions?
Its “cul­ture” is defined by per­pet­u­al vio­lence, betray­al, and a “might makes right” phi­los­o­phy. Key tra­di­tions include bru­tal war­fare between lay­ers, the pur­suit of pow­er by Demon Lords, and the con­ver­sion of souls into manes. It is also a place where crea­tures con­tin­u­ous­ly play pranks on you and oth­ers.
