Phlegeth­os is a bru­tal, night­mar­ish land­scape that acts as the epit­o­me of a fiery hell­ish realm, close­ly resem­bling the Ele­men­tal Plane of Fire. It is char­ac­ter­ized by vast, smok­ing vol­ca­noes, rivers of flow­ing lava, and a star­less sky filled with danc­ing flames, where the very air is thick with intense, blis­ter­ing heat.

How many races live in this city?
Phlegethos,is a fiery, vol­canic waste­land heav­i­ly pop­u­lat­ed by Pit Fiends, Hamat­u­la (barbed dev­ils), and Cor­nu­gons (horned dev­ils). It is ruled by Lady Fier­na and Belial, with com­mon inhab­i­tants includ­ing imps, spinagons, hell hounds, Cin­der­scales and tieflings. The land­scape is often fre­quent­ed by Male­branch­es and Fire snakes.

What are the cul­ture and tra­di­tions?
Phlegeth­os Its cul­ture is defined by relent­less, scorch­ing ambi­tion, fiery pas­sion, and intri­cate legal­ism where dev­ils thrive on tor­ment, com­pe­ti­tion, and the man­u­fac­tur­ing of hell­ish weapons.

What is the tra­di­tion­al dress­code?
Medieval cloth­ing in red or black or a com­bi­na­tion of both, and some­times they wear armour.

What reli­gion pre­vails in the city?
They believe in Fier­na, wife of the dev­il Asmodeus.

What does the leader of this city look like?
Fier­na, the Archdev­il ruler of Phlegeth­os , is described as an impos­si­bly beau­ti­ful, human-like young woman, often appear­ing as a 6 ft tall, stat­uesque, and lithe seduc­tress. She is typ­i­cal­ly depict­ed with fiery red hair, red eyes, small horns, a point­ed tail, and long red nails.

What is the sym­bol of the city? While Phlegeth­os lacks a sin­gu­lar, uni­ver­sal­ly rec­og­nized sym­bol in the same way deities do, it is the­mat­ic and often rep­re­sent­ed by a two-pronged Ranseur or a fiery land­scape of vol­ca­noes and rivers of lava.
