Badgerfolk

D&D Badgerfolk Race

The Badgerfolk

The Badgerfolk are a unique race that, like the Owlin and the Tortle, have a culture strongly reminiscent of ancient Japanese traditions. They live by the way of the ninja: silent, swift, and devoted to their dojo.

The Owlin and the Badgerfolk

The Owlin are known for their regular tournaments between dojos. The winning dojo earns the honor of leading the three regions of the land of Sanjū Shima. These regions are often caught up in internal conflict. The Badgerfolk strive to lead the land with a just hand, and when they hold power, peace usually reigns.

Fukurō

Most Badgerfolk live in the  region of Fukurō, one of the three territories of Sanjū Shima. This land is known for its mountainous forests, misty valleys, and hidden dojos, where the Badgerfolk train in silence and live according to their age-old traditions.

Powers

When the Owlin seize power, however, that peace fades. They use the land to stir up hatred and dark magic, influenced by the powers of one of the three moons. The Badgerfolk, by contrast, draw their strength from the light of one of the three suns, while the Tortle are bound to the green forces of nature and
the plant world.

Appearance

The Badgerfolk closely resemble badgers in appearance: black with white stripes, sharp claws, and agile bodies. They are masters of stealth and shadow combat  true ninjas. They live
according to the teachings of their dojo master, who serves as both spiritual and strategic leader.

Dojo Masters

There are three dojo masters on Sanjū Shima  one for each people: the Badgerfolk, the Owlin,
and the Tortle. They determine the fate of their people and play a crucial role in the struggle for balance, power, and peace in the land.
