Aver­nus is a des­o­late, war-torn, vol­canic waste­land char­ac­ter­ized by a dark red sky, jagged obsid­i­an, and con­stant dan­ger. It is a vast, rocky plain filled with bub­bling tar pits, lava rivers, and fire­balls, act­ing as a fiery bat­tle­field for the Blood War.

Aver­nus is pri­mar­i­ly pop­u­lat­ed by law­ful evil dev­ils, includ­ing Lemures, Nup­peri­bos, Spinagons, Abishai, and Pit fiends. It is a war-torn land­scape plagued by invad­ing demons, as well as native mon­sters like Hell hounds, Night­mares, Abishai and Tieflings.

Zariel looks like an angel who has gone to the dark side. But that’s what she is, because she used to be an angel. Zariel wears black armour with a fiery halo above her head. She has white skin and two horns. She also has two black angel wings.
