Beaverfolk
DnD Beaverfolk Race
The Beaverfolk live in the fairytale-like, forested land of Dambo, alongside two other friendly peoples: the Platypusfolk (a curious, water-loving platypus-like race) and the Mashop, an agile, squirrel-like tribe that prefers to dwell high in the trees. For the Beaverfolk, wood is sacred. They are known for their talent in building, tree-felling, and constructing sturdy dams. Woodworking, craftsmanship, and cooperation form the core of their culture. Their homes are built entirely of wood, often along babbling streams or in clearings within the forest.
Appearance
They resemble large beavers, with dense fur, flat tails, and two prominent front teeth capable of gnawing effortlessly through tree trunks.
Dammer
Most Beaverfolk live in Dammer, a vast, water-rich region within Dambo, famed for its colossal dams, endless forests, and artisanal wood villages. Dammer is the beating heart of beaver culture, where traditions are passed down from generation to generation.
Dambo and the Triple Crown
Dambo itself is a peaceful realm, celebrated for its lush nature and the harmony between its three peoples. The land is jointly ruled by three kings: one from each race.
This Triple Crown ensures that every voice is heard and that decisions are made in balance. Thanks to this unique cooperation, Dambo stands as an example of peace, conservation, and mutual respect.
