Harengon
DnD Harengon Race

Harengon
The Harengon, lively beings resembling rabbits and hares, are known for their speed, inventiveness, and boundless energy. They thrive in vast grasslands and wooded hills, where their creativity and agility flourish. Though playful and curious, their restless nature can sometimes lead to impulsiveness and chaos.
Conflict
For centuries, the Harengon lived in conflict with the Firbolgs, a people resembling blue, woolly sheep. These calm and wise beings are deeply connected to the forest and the ancient magic flowing through it. The war between both peoples lasted more than forty years and claimed countless lives on both sides.
Peace
Recently, peace finally seemed within reach. A treaty was signed between the kings of both races, a new beginning, or so the Harengon believe.
Firbolg
But among the Firbolgs, betrayal is brewing.
Monty, a malevolent white Harengon known as The Killer Rabbit, is hated by the Firbolgs, and he despises them just as fiercely. In secret, he is part of a dark cult that worships Xavier, the God of Sacrifice. Monty is plotting a massive ritual, intending to use the Harengon to feed Xavier with their life energy, believing it will grant him immeasurable power. The rest of the Firbolgs know nothing of Monty’s schemes. To them, the peace feels genuine, for now.

Velbruen
The land where these races dwell is called Velbruen. It is divided into several regions or provinces.
Leporia & Aurellia
Most Harengon live in Leporia, where their king resides. To the north lies Aurellia, the realm of the Firbolgs, a land of ancient magic and deep forests.
But in the shadow of the peace treaty, danger grows.
Monty’s dark plans threaten to destroy everything the Harengon have fought so hard to protect.
