Heard Island is a peace­ful and beau­ti­ful island with snow-capped peaks and sparkling ice caves.

Peng­folk live on Heard Island. They are a peace­ful peo­ple who live off the sea, avoid­ing unnec­es­sary con­flicts. The island is also home to polar bears, some of whom belong to the Urby race a type of anthro­po­mor­phic bear. Despite the harsh cli­mate, they are strong, brave, and fierce­ly loy­al to their kin.

• What are the cul­ture and tra­di­tions?
  It is tra­di­tion­al for female peng­folk to go hunt for fish, while the male peng­folk breeds the egg of unborn peng­folk. The hunt is an impor­tant part of their lives, since they are excel­lent fish­er­men: they hunt fish, krill, and squid effi­cient­ly.

  The tra­di­tion of the Peng­folk is that they sing togeth­er, with the entire flock. The hymns that the Peng­folk sing can be about their day or how they are feel­ing.

  The Polar Urby have a king, but there is a huge dis­cus­sion going on about who of them is the best king. This dis­cus­sion requires most of their dai­ly tasks, along with hunt­ing, eat­ing, sleep­ing and pro­tect­ing the land. Most­ly the one of the Polar Urby who is the strongest, wins the con­ver­sa­tion and gets to be king for the day.

  Oth­er than that, these Polar Urby are mas­ter met­al­work­ers and forge their own armour, which is a source of great pride and essen­tial in com­bat.

  The Peng­folk often trav­el on the Polar Urby, who don’t mind this at all.
  The Polar Urby trav­el on their 4 feet, but some of them are able to stand on 2 feet if nec­es­sary.
