Kapinchos
D&D Kapinchos Race
In the wondrous land of The United Tuskdom, often simply called Tuskdom, two unique races live in harmony: the stately Walrus Folk and the friendly yet courageous Kapinchos.
The Walrus Folk are impressive beings that resemble walking walruses, complete with imposing tusks, thick whiskers, and powerful arms and legs. The Kapinchos resemble capybaras, but walk upright, with friendly faces and surprisingly sharp minds. In Tuskdom, both peoples dress with flair: wearing smart suits, hats, wigs, and accessories reminiscent of classic English nobility – similar to how giff or elves might dress in other kingdoms.
Culture and Pride of Tuskdom
Tuskdom is a proud land with a rich history and culture. It is famous for:
Historic castles
Ancient ruins (such as the mysterious stone circles of Stoneplunge)
Vibrant cities like Rusden
Love for tradition, especially the world-renowned afternoon tea
A strong sports culture, with popular games such as crickball, rugboar, and footwal
Additionally, Tuskdom is known for its influential economy, fueled by thriving trade and colonial ambitions.
The Rule of Queen Wibblymina
At the head of Tuskdom stands Her Majesty Queen Wibblymina, a Kapinchos of royal lineage. Despite her cute appearance, she is a formidable warrior and clever leader. She rules alongside her two principal advisors:
Winston Churrus, a wise and just Walrus Folk with a passion for diplomacy and fine cigars
Capy Becklebutt, a Kapinchos with grand ambitions and a cold heart. He sees himself as the future ruler of the kingdom and its fleets. He is cunning, calculating, and will stop at nothing
Trade, Ships, and Rivalry
Tuskdom’s naval fleet is divided between two trading companies:
The Capy Trading Company, led by Capy Becklebutt, known for their sharp blue suits
The Walrus Trading Company, loyal to Winston Churrus, in their classic red uniforms
Both organizations vie for influence at sea and in politics, while the queen tries to maintain balance. Winston Churrus does everything he can to keep her on the throne and curb Capy’s rise.
Tuskdom: Land of Tea and Pride
The people of Tuskdom are passionate about tea and all things tea-related – from the proper temperature to which pastry pairs best with Earl Grey. This shared passion is perhaps the one thing all Tuskdom citizens always agree on.
Whether you are a brave Kapinchos warrior or a stately Walrus diplomat, adventure always awaits in Tuskdom – especially if you dare to navigate the political intrigues simmering beneath the surface of this seemingly proper kingdom.
