Order of the Roll - Dungeons and Dragons Slother - Order of the Roll

Slother

DnD Slother Race

Appearance and Habitat

Slothers closely resemble sloths. They primarily live in rainforests, often near mountains. There, they retreat to monasteries where peace, reflection, and discipline are central values.

Life in the Monasteries

In these monasteries, Slother monks and nuns live and work according to a religious rule. Their days follow a rhythm of prayer, labor, and silence.

Typical monastic activities include:
• Brewing beer and wine
• Cultivating crops
• Caring for the sick
• Teaching children

The daily routine is structured around canonical hours, often based on psalms, and various forms of labor to provide for their own livelihood as well as that of others.

Appearance of Slother Monks

Slother monks usually wear brown, black, or white robes. Many also have a bald spot on their heads as a sign of devotion and humility.

Slothers in the Wild

Not every Slother lives in a monastery. Many still dwell in the wild, scattered throughout the rainforests. There they live in small villages and hunt animals to survive.

Skills and Hunting Style

Slothers are known as patient watchers. Their calm nature makes them excellent sharpshooters (snipers). They wait quietly for the perfect moment and then strike with deadly precision.
